Terms and Conditions
1. Payment Terms
1.1. All tour prices are quoted in US Dollars. Payments can be made in any freely convertible currency, and the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment will apply.
1.2. Accepted payment methods include bank cards (Visa, MasterCard), mobile money, and cash. Cheques are accepted for outbound trips only.
1.3. A 20% deposit is required upon booking any tour to secure advance bookings for services and amenities.
1.4. The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival, before the commencement of the tour.
1.5. For bookings made less than 30 days before the tour, full payment is required at the time of booking.
1.6. Kaije Safaris reserves the right to cancel a booking if payment is not received in accordance with the above terms.
2. Itinerary Price
2.1. The tour fee includes:
- Transportation to and from the airport and around the country as per the selected itinerary
- Accommodation
- Three hotel meals per day
- Entrance fees to game reserves and national parks
- Tour guide allowances
2.2. The following costs are not included in the tour fee:
- Passport and visa fees
- Excess baggage charges
- Items of a personal nature (e.g., tips, porter services, waiter services)
- Trip cancellation insurance
2.3. We highly recommend that all clients obtain trip cancellation and medical emergency insurance, as it is a requirement before the commencement of any trip.
3. Tour Cancellation Policy
3.1. Kaije Safaris reserves the right to alter or cancel any part of the tour arrangement should conditions necessitate such changes.
3.2. The company also reserves the right to accept or decline any individual as a participant at any point during the tour if the participant is deemed unfit.
3.3. In the case of tour cancellations or participant removals, an equitable refund will be provided based on the situation.
4. Liability
4.1. Kaije Safaris reserves the right to employ subcontractors to fulfill services agreed upon. In such cases, the same terms of liability shall apply to subcontractors.
4.2. All bookings are accepted under the condition that Kaije Safaris and its agents act solely as agents for participants regarding accommodation, tours, and transport. The company is not liable for injury, delay, loss, accident, or damage unless it occurs during transport provided by Kaije Safaris.
4.3. Kaije Safaris accepts no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in air travel, sickness, civil disturbances, quarantine, or other unforeseen events. These costs will be borne by the passenger.
4.4. While we take great care to protect client belongings, the company is not liable for the theft, loss, or damage of baggage. We recommend purchasing baggage insurance.
4.5. The company’s liability is governed by the laws of the country, and any claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the local courts where the cause of action arises.
